Peter is a seasoned financial crime risk professional with nearly 26 years of experience in anti-financial crime management, advisory, remediation, and problem resolution. He began his career in anti-financial crime with the Metropolitan Police Fraud Squad in 1991, dealing with public sector corruption. In 1998, he joined the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Fraud Squad, before transitioning to the private sector with Fidelity Investments Limited in 2000 as Head of Investigations and Background Vetting, later becoming Deputy MLRO.

Peter has since held several MLRO, MLCO, and Head of Compliance roles in both the UK and Jersey, covering various European and Middle Eastern jurisdictions. His expertise spans investment, corporate, high-net-worth, and retail banking, as well as asset management, money transfer, e-money, and payment services.

He has a proven track record of building and managing effective teams and has significant experience in transformation across the first and second lines of defence. Peter excels in financial crime programme reviews, improvements, implementations, and risk assessment.
